Open Courses

We offer a wide range of public computer courses on a rolling programme throughout the year. These courses are ideal if you are a business who wants to train a small number of employees at any one time, or an individual who wants to upskill for enhanced career prospects or to get back in to workplace. By booking your training with us you will be helping to support and develop a sustainable, not for profit IT resource within the Communities First area, encouraging more community engagement and raising awareness of other development opportunities and leisure time activities locally.

In-house Training

Sometimes you just can`t get away from the office! That isn`t a problem - we can come to you! We provide cost effective on-site computer training across Wales and the North West. All you need is a suitable room - we can bring our laptops with us (We have Office 2010 and MS Project installed).

At a Glance...... Open Courses & Events Coming Soon

Exciting news Tŷ Llywelyn Community Centre is having a re-build shortly - there will be be a large extension and a new cafe. There will be a little disruption for a few weeks which is the reason I have not scheduled any open courses - hopefully I will know more in the next few days. Please do contact me if you are looking for dates for the open courses .

We have a wide range of open short courses available in our newly equipped training room at the Tŷ Llywelyn Community Centre, Llandudno. Digital Tourism Business Framework Pilot Course (DTBF)

Sue Jackson is delighted to have been selected by Visit Wales to deliver a range of Pilot training courses for the Digital Tourism Business Framework Programme in North Wales.

The aim of these innovative one day ‘Using Technology in Tourism’ training courses, as set out by Visit Wales, is to "assist Tourism Businesses and supporting organisations to adopt new technology. This will allow them to meet and exceed visitor expectations and become more competitive in the market place as a result".

Microsoft Project - Open Course

This two day course is designed to familiarise you with Microsoft Project .

Microsoft Project will help you define, schedule, monitor tasks and manage your resources and associated costs using a variety of tool.

When your project is under way, you will be able to analyse valuable project information and track progress so that you can make necessary adjustments to keep your project on target and within budget.

You will also find the built in reports very useful they will help you to communicate the plan and keep everyone informed regarding the current status of the project.

Sue worked closely with us to tailor a course in MS Project to improve the skill set of over 65 employees. She proactively adapted and improved the training course per session and customer feedback has been excellent.
